MILCHO LEVIEV (USA) is Award winning composer, arranger, performer (pianist, keyboardist, conductor) and educator of classical and jazz music. This magnificent jazz pianist has worked with the major players on the music scene namely, Art Pepper, Billy Cobham, Roy Haynes,Ray Pizzi, Charlie Haden, Ray Brown, Oscar Brashear, Mundell Lowe, just to name a few. He has recorded live at the legendary Ronnie Scott's in London. Leviev led a bop inspired quartet that featured Art Pepper, they recorded the superb albums "Blues For The Fisherman" and "True Blues". Milcho Leviev has a marvellous sense of humour that is revealed in the music he plays, there is a constant shift of ideas in his solos, he can be in a bebop mode and shift midstream to the fascinating mystique that he is famous for, with a bit of Monk added as an aside.

Founded in 1989, the MOSCOW SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA is one of the leading orchestras in the capital today and is the first independent orchestra in Russia established with private resources and free of state support. Since 1996 under the general sponsorship of “Nestle” the MSO performs an annual series of concerts in the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. The professionalism and outstanding repertoire of the MSO has established the orchestra in Moscow’s musical sphere and built a devoted and appreciative audience.

WILSON HERMANTO – is the Indonesian-American conductor. Mr. Hermanto founded and served as Music Director of the Prometheus Chamber Orchestra in New York, worked regularly in performances with the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra and since September 2004, Mr. Hermanto works as Assistant Conductor to Maestro Christoph Eschenbach with the Orchestre de Paris. During the 2006-07 Season, Mr. Hermanto made his debut conducting the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, and in September 2007 he conducted the MSO with a Requiem Verdi with great success.

On December 15th, 2007 Milcho Leviev and The Moscow Symphony Orchestra conducted by Wilson Hermanto will play George Gershwin’ Rhapsody in Blue (arrangement by Milcho Leviev) and Compositions by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and others. The Famous Greek vocalist VICKI ALMAZIDU will take part in the Concert as a guest soloist.
