Rachmaninov - Piano Concerto No. 2

  • “The Moscow Symphony Orchestra is developing its own characteristically Russian sound, rich and soulful”.

  • “Vladimir Ziva — a great master, who combines extraordinary power with the highest sense of the orchestra's sonorous palette”.

  • “Arnold succeeded to achieve immediately a great musical tension and thrilling atmosphere and in the Tchaikovsky Romeo & Juliette overture and the build up of this work was magisterial. It's almost impossible to ruin Tchaikovsky's love-theme but played like tonight it is one of the most beautiful melodies ever written”. Trouw, Peter van der Lint
